ORTHDX BOXING CLUB

Western boxing is a tried and true method of self-defense and sport fighting. Open to all levels and perfect for beginners, this class will work on boxing fundamentals like footwork, structure, focus mitt combos, bag work, and evasive tactics. Sparring class requires Boxing Level 1 and coach approval.

 

CLASS DETAILS: 60-75 Minutes.

SOUTHERN
MANTIS

Chow Gar Southern Praying Mantis is a direct combat system maintaining the integrity of traditional martial arts utilizing every range of combat. Classes include strength drills, iron body conditioning, striking, kicking, throwing, grappling, and traditional shadow boxing forms. David Welther is the head instructor and USA representative under world renown master, Sifu Paul Whitrod.

IS3 ESKRIMA

A weapons-based martial arts from the Philippines, Inayan Systems III Eskrima will teach you how to use sticks, knives, and other bladed weapons. Eskrima also uses empty-hand techniques such as boxing and grappling. Unlike most martial arts, students train with weapons from the first day of class, learning techniques that translate to empty-hand applications.

SUBMISSION
WRESTLING

Submission grappling is composed of techniques present in a variety of combat arts, including Folkstyle, Greco-Roman, and Catch Wrestling, Sambo, Judo, Japanese and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Submission grapplers do not wear a traditional uniform (such as a ‘Gi’ or jacket), and the techniques do not rely on grips to clothing. Submission grappling skills are a core part of mixed martial arts.
