ORTHDX invites you to join our rejuvenating training trip to Costa Rica.

Considered one of the ‘Blue Zones’ in the world where people commonly live beyond 100 years, the Guanacaste province of Costa Rica sits on the Pacific Coast with the most beautiful beaches in the country.
ORTHDX training trips are centered on unique and unforgettable experiences blending training adventures and celebrating local culture, food and community.
We have designed this limited small group training trip to unplug and rejuvenate in this beautiful, peaceful oasis. We will be staying in a private resort, walking distance to Playa Avellenas and around many great restaurants.
This small beach town dubbed ‘Little Hawaii’ is known as a haven for surfers with its beautiful beaches, its relaxed-vibe, and stellar waves perfect for beginners and seasoned surfers alike.

Surf Lessons: Learn from the the best while in the perfect place to surf!
Horseback Riding: A beautiful ride along the beaches of the area with our famous local Sabanero, Andres Gutti.
Paddle Board Tour: Explore the Mangrove Tunnels at the Nandamojo river. Your guide will point out the wildlife: water birds, monkeys, crocodiles and many other species of animals.
Diamante Eco Adventure: Diamante is known for its exciting Zip Line course featuring the longest dual action zip line in the country and is home to a renowned Animal Sanctuary and one of the most beautiful Wildlife Education Centers in Costa Rica.
ATV Beach Tour : 3 hour tour exploring 3 hidden & secret beaches in the beautiful area of Playa Conchal
Sunset Catamaran Tour
Hacienda Guachipelin Adventure Day: go tubing and swim in volcanic hot springs
Waterfall and River Experience: Day tour to the beautiful Lonas de Cortez waterfall
Reina’s Chocolate Tour: Taste more than 15 chocolates + 3 chocolate beverages, walk in the botanical garden, tour the production facilities, class/conversations about chocolate and it’s history.
Master class Chocolate Making and Tasting: The class starts with roasting the cacao and sends you home with the skills to make your own chocolate in the future

SCHEDULE
We will start the day with yoga at the beach or bodyweight training at the resort.
After training, delicious organic breakfast will be served at the resort for our group.
The rest of the day is free for you to explore the many options to find adventure or simply enjoy PURA VIDA (good/pure life)
‘Merienda’ or mid-meal snacks will be available at our communal kitchen.

Arrival in Costa Rica on March 27th via Liberia Airport
Departure on April 1st via Liberia Airport
Airport transfer is included.
We will release information and suggestions for best flights, car rental options and arrival/departure times shortly after Sept 15th deposit due date.
accomodations & cost
This retreat is designed to be a small group retreat and expected to fill quickly. It is encouraged to place your deposit soon so that you can secure your place and begin planning your remarkable retreat to paradise.
A non-refundable and non-transferable $500 deposit secures your space in the retreat. Deposit is due by Sept. 15th. This is required to hold your spot and is used to set up reservations and administrative fees.
The full amount is due 90 days prior to the start date of the retreat.

important notes
Costs associated with passports (required), airfare, flight changes, airline baggage fees for any and all baggage, medical and travel insurance, vaccinations, gratuities and taxes for personal services, spa services, and tours/excursions must be met by the participant.
Travel insurance is highly encouraged.
As of August 22, 2022 COVID travel requirements and restrictions have been lifted to enter Cost Rica and to re-enter the United States.
We will release information and suggestions for best flights, car rental options and arrival/departure times shortly after Sept 15th deposit due date.
